Things To Come

Happy first Monday of 2017!

Diving right into some fab trends. Fashion is all about looking ahead. While it may be Winter now, so many of us fashion girls have our heads in Spring. I'm certainly not saying ignore the now. Enjoy the hot chocolate, skiing, boots and furs! I know I am. I've done a little leg work for you. The pussy-bow blouse has made a major comeback (we saw it some for fall fashion) and is the perfect way to start wearing a little spring now. Here, I'm showing you how to make the look work for you if you want to rock the look but aren't really wanting to commit to the full on blouse.

All you need for a basic but very chic look is your favorite white button up blouse with a crisp collar, a blazer or in my case a sparkly short open one, and a neckerchief. With those easy steps you've got a polished and on point look.

Fast tip: I like to make my bow a little less than perfect for a little interest in the outfit. Also material will make a difference in bow your bow will sit. This one is a stiffer fabric so it holds shape. Look for a light weight material if you want your bow to fall.

I hope this Monday brings you lots of chic!

Gorgeous Greenery

By now I'm sure that most of you have heard Pantone's the color of 2017 is "Greenery". I normally do a post about this yearly announcement but this year I'm just as thrilled as when it was Emerald in 2013. Green is my most favorite color! Even "Kale" made it's way into the 2017 Spring color palette! Which I decided to rock with a little added sparkle!

I think it's so funny and very hipster to throw kale into spring's colors but I love it!

I do adore a great color combo and also tend to pair on opposite sides of the color wheel. Burnt Orange and Kale are a match made in heaven. Add a little leopard and you've got a great outfit.

I don't know about you but I for one am very excited to welcome a new year and new fashion possibilites. Here is Pantone's Spring 2017 color palette.

Who's ready to start shopping?

I've got a lot of fun things in store for you this week. Look for delicious recipes, and a very sparkly DIY on Friday's Martini Moment.

Have a great week leading up to Christmas! I hope your coffee is strong and your shopping is done!

Bralette Love

It sure has been a crazy week or so. Between hosting Thanksgiving, starting decorating, both MK and myself getting the flu mid decorating, and then getting over the flu, I've been pretty off the grid here. But, now it's officially time for Christmas and obviously winter weather. Now speaking of winter I love the fashion but I'm a huge lingerie collector and love my braletts. If you do too this post is for you! I'm showing a quick look on how to style your favorite bralettes in the winter.

Have an awesome Tuesday!
