Gym Hangry

Obviously we are all starving after a workout. At least I am! But, what to eat after getting your run on? Here are a few foods that are the perfect go-to.

Eggs- This one is by far my favorite. This girl loves eggs and I eat them every morning when I return from the gym. They have both carbs and protein which is what you body is craving and are only 70 calories each.

Bananas- Not only are they a "good carb" they also help rebuild damaged muscles.

Salmon- Don't want to eat eggs for dinner? No problem. Salmon also helps rebuild your muscles and is an anti-inflammatory. 

Nuts- If you are in a hurry and jetting to work after this is the perfect post workout snack to toss in your gym or handbag. My favorite is the antioxidant boost from Nature Box (www.naturebox.com). I always have it handy when I know I'm running errands after the gym. The best part about this one is that it doesn't waste any time getting to your system. It pack a quick punch of good carbs, fat, and protein. 

Chocolate Milk- You better believe it! Not only is it delicious, it's good for you too! Same as the others, this has protein and helps rebuild muscle. Also, it will satisfy your sweet tooth so you don't go for an unhealthy treat instead.

Fabletics Fashion


I've talked about Kate Hudson's workout line "Fabletics" before and my obsession hasn't lessoned. You purchase the pieces as an outfit, my top and bottom in these photos are from two different outfits. I always rave about the quality of this line. Totally one of those look good feel good things. My running shoes, I love them so much. I need new ones and these are completely beat up but I will run in these until they fall apart!


I get a lot of questions on my workout routine. As far as that goes, I am a runner. Pretty simple huh? Sure I could do other things but I just love to run! My normal run (when I'm in the gym) is I run for two minutes and walk two. It puts your fat burning really high and keeps your heart rate up. I've done this for years and I can say it is very effective.

Go For A Run

For the most part I'm a gym girl. But on Labor Day I decided to take Donatella and my run outside. It was a perfect day to get out and enjoy the fresh air!

I know I've talked about them before but these leggings are my favorite to work out in and to put on after a long day. Not only are those from the fabulous DK's Style Hut  http://dksstylehut.com/ but so is my sports bra and tank. I seriously never want to take these tanks off! Feeling good and looking good are the two things that make a workout great.
