A Little Salty

Happy Friday Everyone!

Do you want tequila little time with me?

Let’s dive right in shall we? I love a good cocktail and this one is super easy and guilt free…for the most part. I love a super fresh drink and look no further than a Paloma for just that. This is an easy drink to just throw together with only a few ingredients needed.

One thing I do a lot when making drinks is to create a fun simple syrup to go with it. Simple syrup is so easy to make (simmered equal parts of water and sugar). One reason I prefer to make my own instead of buying it is because I can make it with Stevia instead of regular white sugar. With this particular simple syrup the salt element really compliments the cocktail well. But be wanted, this drink is not for someone who likes their drinks sweet. I’m a salty over sweet Gal so it’s right up my alley.

what you do:

This is an easy one! Throw everything in a shaker full of ice (minus club soda if you’re using it) and pour over ice. Top with soda if you want and garnish with grapefruit and lime. Salt the rim if you desire…which I always do. Serve and enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

note: usually a Paloma is a little more pink. Not sure why mine wasn’t, the type of grapefruit perhaps?
