I don’t know if it’s Valentine’s Day on it’s way or what but there is just something about February that makes me want to make all of the strawberry things. Today I’m sharing a super easy sweet treat to satisfy your sweet tooth.
what you need and do:
The Crust
what you do:
Add all three ingredients in a food processor to mix.
Put the mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Press into tart pan, poke with a fork to prevent crust from rising, and bake on 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
The Filling
what you do:
Add cut strawberries to a pan and in a cup add water and mix starch in. Then add to strawberries.
Put the pan on low heat and stir until the mixture thickens. In the end add Agave and remove from heat. Set aside to cool.
To assemble tart
Simply add strawberry mixture to cooled tart crust and let sit in the fridge for an hour. Decorate with more strawberries or fresh mint (which I had a lack of).
