Warm, Cozy, & Boozy

It’s been pretty chilly in my neck of the woods this week. So I thought it would be a perfect time to mix up a warm drink.

For a very long time I’ve wanted to make Milled Wine. I know I’ve been talking French lately but the first time I had this delicious drink was when we were strolling around Paris. It was cold as we landed in The City of Lights on The Day of Love. February is pretty cold there too. When we were offered hot wine, I’m not going to lie I was a little confused as I never heard of it let alone tried it.

The recipe is simple and so worth making on cold Winter days.

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a low simmer over low-medium heat. Simmer the mulled wine mixture for 15 minutes. Just don’t let the wine boil or else the alcohol will boil down too. Then remove from heat and ladle into mugs.

Enjoy your Friday!
