My Martini Moment

Make You Blush

Happy Valentine’s Day Weekend!

It doesn’t matter if you celebrate or not this drink is seriously delicious. You can’t go wrong then there is fresh lemonade involved. Which is how I started this pitcher recipe.

what you do:

Make your lemonade by adding the lemon juice, water, and sugar in the pitcher and stir well. Add in everything else except the Champagne and stir again. Top with your Cava and enjoy! Not to encourage day drinking or anything but…this was made exactly for that.

note: I’ve had this in a lot of other posts on how to make the simple syrup and in case you need refreshed it’s just equal parts sugar (I used Stevia) and water. Then add in whatever flavor you’d like in this case I used strawberries. I used 1/2 cup water and Stevia and ended up with about 1/4 cup.

Whatever you find yourself doing this weekend I hope it includes an amazing drink, delicious food, and good company.

The Blue Blizzard

Well. We’ve made it to Friday, Friends.

Chilly out there, eh? It is in my neck of the woods. That’s exactly why I’ve brought you the perfect boozy winter cocktail. It’s very simple, too. I always say to have a bottle of Blue Curaçao around (I’ve had mine for a long time) because you can do some really cool drink colors with it.

Okay, on to the cocktail.

what you do:

Simply throw everything into a cocktail shaker with ice, except the soda. Then, strain into a martini glass and top with the soda.

For the rim:

Dip in corn syrup (but not too much like I did here) and then dip in a white sprinkle.

Have a fabulous weekend!

An Eggscellent Cocktail

I’ve got a question for you. Would you like to know my special talent? It’s making the biggest effing mess in the kitchen when I make a cocktail. Kidding.

It’s true but my real question is:

Have you ever added an egg to your cocktail?

And really, why do it? Long story short, it adds texture to a drink without adding any extra flavor.

Today I’m bringing you a super cool an quite beautiful drink recipe. This is an easy one that is sure to impress your guests or even just for a girls night.

what you do:

Throw the blueberries, lemon juice, and sugar (I used Stevia) in your cocktail shaker and muddle. Add gin and egg white.

shake, shake, shake!

This recipe makes two drinks, so pour over ice and garnish with lemon. I like Hendricks gin but use whatever you like.

This drink is SO refreshing and absolutely delicious. Have one for me because my weekend is nothing but busy with work.

Cheers!
