Luscious Lashes

Get ready to bat those eyes pretty ladies. Today's Fast Tip is all about the lashes and how to make them perfect. Here are a couple lash hacks that will do wonders! Sometimes when I am professionally doing makeup my clients will say "Wow I've never thought of that!" so I figured why not share some of my tips?

Right when you start doing your makeup put your mascara in hot water. It will come out more liquid and not clumpy.

Don't underestimate lash primer. Its worth it. Here is a great one:

If you don't have any, dust powder in between coats of mascara so that they will look even longer.

If you are rocking faux lashes but don't want a full on Kim Kardashian look all you have to do is cut the full lash in half and apply it to just the ends.

Many don't realize that you should coat the top and bottom of your lashes for more va-va-voom.

For this Tuesday, I hope your coffee is strong and your lashes are long! xoxo

Soak The Day Away

Sunday's are for long baths...

What a perfect way to spend this snowy Sunday! Since I was young one of my favorite things in the whole world was to take a bath. Well that hasn't changed. To me there is nothing better than grabbing a bottle of champagne and soaking the day away. So when I find a way to further improve this moment to relax I jump on it.

To make your next bath even more amazing, just add these three things for the best detox ever:

Handful of Epsom salts

1/2 baking soda

10 drops essential oil

Here are some great choices for oils and the affect they have:

Lavender & Eucalyptus - Calming
Peppermint- Will wake you up!
Chamomile & Rosemary- For a headache

Now go enjoy your Sunday!

Nailed It

This has been a busy week thus far and I haven't quite been able to get back on my normal manicure schedule. I really needed to get some color on my nails so I decided to give good 'ol Sally Hanson a try with their no light gel manicure.

First, I'm in love with this shade called "Red Eye"(duh).  Second, the coats dry really fast which is what I need no matter what.  Totally have ants in my pants at all times. But lastly, Sally Hanson, it does not last 14 days. I would say a tad longer than normal polish.

Moral of the story? It's a nice longer lasting polish that is quite perfect when you are in a rush or in between mani's.

Remember Ladies, you are only helpless when your nails are drying.

Fast Tip: the best time to do your at home mani is right after you shower because your cuticles are softer.
