Done Up

Some trends turn into styles that stay and others just start getting on your nerves after a while. The sock bun? On my nerves. I'm just a little sick of seeing it. That being said, I still like a top knot of sorts especially when my hair is looking a little blah.

So all you need to do is put your hair in a pony, take pieces and tease them, then take turns on each side and pin them behind with Bobbi pins. It's a messier look than the sock bun but it's a nice change.

Hitting The Ground Running

Welcome to one of the busiest weekends that I've experienced in quite some time. A nonstop weekend full of hair, makeup, weddings, and a boudoir shoot. I love getting to be a part of such a special day.  Even though this weekend was more work than play, it was a blast! The wedding we had the privilege of photographing this weekend was so beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a nicer bridal party.

Sunday morning, I was at it again, doing hair, and airbrushing a beautiful bride in Leachburg. It may have been about an hour and a half to get there but what's better than jamming to some of your favorite music with the top down?

Without taking a second to breathe, had a trial run with an August bride, followed then by a Boudoir shoot.

I've always been a fan of hats, good thing I wear a lot of them!

Have an event coming up? Look like you just stepped off the beach by mixing liquid bronzer with a firming body cream, then massage it into your arms. It'll temporarily tighten your skin and give it a sunkissed glow.

Until next time...

The Perfect Start...and Finish.

Welcome to my favorite part of the morning. I like to allow as much time as I can to get ready in the morning so I can relax, drink my coffee, and basically get myself together for the day.

One tip I have when doing makeup and making it last all day is a good primer and  finish. I've used many products in my day and these two ended up being my favorite. They are only $3 a piece so that sure is a bonus. It's an easy way to update your beauty routine, primer before foundation and the setting mist when you are totally done. It's worth it for an all day no fuss face.
